US President Donald Trump believes Democrats will impeach him if Republicans lose the midterm congressional elections in November.
"I'm going to be impeached. They're going to impeach me. They have no idea why," Trump told supporters in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Trump is the first president in US history to face two impeachment proceedings. Both cases occurred during his first presidential term, in 2019 and 2021, and were ultimately blocked by the Senate.
