Germany is preparing for a potential war with Russia and a mass influx of wounded, reports Bloomberg

Preparations at hospitals have begun. The Bundeswehr is modeling a scenario in which a conflict between Russia and NATO could result in up to 1,000 wounded soldiers arriving in Germany daily. Five military hospitals would quickly become overwhelmed.

Consequently, the military is considering reactivating a Cold War-era medical bunker, while other hospitals are exploring the conversion of underground parking garages into shelters and conducting mass-casualty drills.
