An attack on an Iranian commercial vessel has left one person dead and three injured in waters near Qeshm Island, in the Strait of Hormuz, according to the Mehr news agency.
Qeshm County Governor Hosein Amir Teymuri stated that the vessel was struck around 5:00 a.m. this Sunday in the area between Hengam Island and the coast of Shib Deraz, on Qeshm.
Authorities indicated that further details would be provided later.
