Latvia and Lithuania are considering a complete ban on the transit of Russian grain through their ports.
Τhe move follows Russia's redirection of export flows to the Baltic region after Ukrainian attacks on Russian maritime ports. According to Reuters, shipment volumes could surge in October.

While Lithuania has not yet disclosed specific measures, Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevičius stated that using Lithuanian infrastructure to export Russian agricultural products "runs counter to our values."
