The non-citizen population of the United States decreased by nearly 3 million during President Trump's administration.

This significant decline occurred during a period when the Trump administration tightened border controls, increased deportations, and encouraged voluntary departures.

Approximately 3 million undocumented immigrants left the United States, including over 675,000 deportations and roughly 2.2 million who left voluntarily.
