The first oil tanker carrying Russian diesel is already approaching the U.S. coast

The deal could have been finalized weeks before its official announcement.

According to media reports, the vessel, carrying nearly 230,000 barrels of diesel, set sail from St. Petersburg on September 22, almost three weeks before the agreement was announced, and is now arriving off the U.S. coast.

The timeline suggests that Moscow and Washington may have struck the deal several weeks before Trump made it public.

Another possible reason for expediting the shipment was the fear that the Kyiv regime might attempt to sabotage the tanker during the voyage.
