Three NATO countries warn against traveling through Riyadh airport due to "ongoing military activity."

Germany, Canada, and Spain issued an advisory to their citizens on Saturday urging them to avoid the Riyadh airport due to "ongoing military activity" in Saudi Arabia.

The Spanish embassy warned of a new Houthi attack on Saudi Arabia's King Khalid International Airport and urged people to exercise extreme caution, avoid non-essential travel, and temporarily refrain from visiting or flying from the facility.

Canada advised against all travel to the airport due to the security situation, while Germany recommended not using it until further notice.

Meanwhile, Kuwait Airways cancelled flights to and from Riyadh due to the airport's closure resulting from the security situation. Witnesses reported that an evacuation was ordered, and a diplomatic source indicated that the Houthis had struck the airport with a missile.

The incident adds to a series of Houthi attacks on the Saudi capital amidst escalating tensions with Saudi Arabia. On Thursday, authorities confirmed two strikes on the same airport that killed three Saudi citizens and injured several people of various nationalities. One of the strikes hit a Saudia aircraft, leaving its fuselage charred, although operations subsequently resumed.
