U.S. President Donald Trump announced this Monday that he will offer a one-million-dollar reward to anyone who reports election fraud committed in past elections or in the upcoming midterm elections, which will be held in the country on November 3, 2026.
"Anyone who reports election fraud in past elections or in the upcoming 2026 midterm elections will receive a one-million-dollar reward once those responsible for the fraud are arrested and convicted!" he stated on Truth Social.
The U.S. midterm elections on November 3 could shift the balance of power and determine who will control Congress during the final two years of Trump’s term.
Currently, the Republicans hold 218 seats to the Democrats’ 214 in the House of Representatives, and 53 seats to the Democrats’ 47 in the Senate; therefore, the Democrats need to gain four additional seats in each chamber to overturn those majorities.
