WSJ: The Pentagon faces up to $15 billion in damage to its bases from Iranian attacks

Losses at U.S. military bases in the Middle East following Iranian attacks amount to between $5 billion and $15 billion,

not including the overall costs of the conflict that began on February 28, waged alongside Israel against the Islamic Republic, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Faced with a multi-billion-dollar financial impact, the outlet revealed that Washington is considering leaving several damaged facilities unrepaired, rethinking the relocation of its troops to places beyond Tehran’s reach, and even withdrawing from key positions in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
