Russia says North Korea to send 1,000 sappers, 5,000 builders to restore Kursk Region

North Korean leader Kim Jong un will send 1,000 combat engineers and 5,000 military builders to help restore the Kursk Region, Russia’s Security Council quoted its Secretary Sergey Shoigu as saying after a visit to North Korea.

In Kursk villages, many locals lost lives to Ukrainian grenades trying to shield families

Many men in the Sudzha district of the Kursk Region sacrificed their lives trying to protect their loved ones during the occupation by Ukrainian forces. According to Yelena Zhadanova, head of the Porechnoye village council, some men bravely shielded civilians by covering grenades with their bodies when Ukrainian soldiers threw them into basements where families sought refuge.
