Fifth officer dies in Dallas shooting, suspect in stand off with police

Five police officers were shot dead and six others injured by at least two snipers on Thursday night during a protest against police racial bias in downtown Dallas, police chief David Brown said.

Le ministre espère que les responsables de ces dégradations soient «identifiés», «interpellés» et «déférés dans les meilleurs délais devant la justice». «Au passage du cortège, de nombreuses vitrines, notamment d'établissements bancaires, ainsi que du mobilier urbain ont été saccagés par des casseurs qui ne respectent pas l'esprit de ce rassemblement», a notamment décrit le ministre.

About 3,000 immigrants and human rights activists marched in Athens in an anti-racism rally, protesting the death of a 27-year-old Pakistani, who was stabbed in an alleged ‘racially-motivated’ attack earlier this week.
­Participants of the anti-racism rally marched in the city’s central Omonia square, with the demonstrators holding banners reading: “Neo-Nazis out” and “Punishment for the fascist murderers of Shehzad Luqman.”
Earlier on Saturday morning about 300 Pakistani immigrants gathered outside city hall bearing the coffin with the body of Pakistani immigrant Shehzad Luqman, who died Wednesday.
