Ανακεφαλαιοποίηση τραπεζών με... πολλή δουλειά

Η ανησυχία για το μέλλον της οικονομίας σε συνδυασμό με ένα… τρελό ράλι στις τραπεζικές μετοχές στη συνεδρίαση του Χρηματιστηρίου ήταν τα βασικά χαρακτηριστικά της χθεσινής ημέρας μετά και τα αποτελέσματα των stress test.

Με επιφυλακτικό τρόπο αντιμετωπίζουν οι ευρωπαϊκές κυβερνήσεις και οι αγορές τα αποτελέσματα των τεστ αντοχής στα οποία υπέβαλε η Ευρωπαϊκή Κεντρική Τράπεζα τις τέσσερις ελληνικές συστημικές τράπεζες, καθώς η Βουλή ετοιμάζεται για ακόμη μία κρίσιμη ψηφοφορία με θέμα τα προαπαιτούμενα.

Αντιμέτωπη με τη σοβαρή οικονομική κρίση και την κούρσα για την ολοκλήρωση της ανακεφαλαιοποίησης των τραπεζών βρίσκεται η ελληνική κυβέρνηση, καθώς τα μηνύματα για τήρηση των συμφωνηθέντων πυκνώνουν.

Το Σάββατο θα ανακοινωθούν τα αποτελέσματα των stress tests

Το Σάββατο 31 Οκτωβρίου το πρωί στις 11:30 ώρα Ελλάδος, αναμένεται η ανακοίνωση των αποτελεσμάτων των stress tests των Ελληνικών Τραπεζών από την Ευρωπαϊκή Κεντρική Τράπεζα.

ECB says 25 banks fail health check of the sector. Banks with a capital shortfall will have to say within two weeks how they intend to close the gap

The 25 euro zone lenders that failed the European Central Bank's landmark health check of the banking sector had a capital shortfall of €25 billion at the end of last year, the ECB said. 

12 of the 25 banks that failed the exercise, which was based on the banks' financial positions at the end of 2013, have since covered their capital shortfalls by increasing their capital by €15 billion in 2014

Italy's financial sector faces the biggest challenge with nine of its banks failing the test, according to watchdog the European Banking Authority, which coordinated the fourth EU stress test with the ECB.

About 25 eurozone banks have failed a health check by the European Central Bank, reports claimed on Saturday (Oct 25), citing leaked documents. 

Nearly one in five of the 130 banks surveyed failed the stress test, the Wall Street Journal and the Daily Telegraph said, ahead of the publication of the official results by the ECB on Sunday.

The unprecedented health check of eurozone banks comes before the ECB assumes the role of the region's banking supervisor next month.
