President Vladimir Putin has held telephone conversations with German
Chancellor Angela Merkel and British Prime Minister David Cameron on the
situation in Ukraine and the upcoming referendum in Crimea, the
Kremlin’s press service reports.
"Discussions
went on about the extremely complicated socio-political situation in
Ukraine as well as questions concerning the March 16 referendum in
Crimea. Despite differences in their assessment of the situation, the
sides voiced common concern to de-escalate tensions and speedily
normalize the situation,” the report says.
A
change of government bearing every sign of a violent coup d’etat
occurred in Ukraine on February 22. The Verkhovna Rada was actually
forced to oust President Viktor Yanukovych, appoint Alexander Turchynov
acting President, Speaker of the parliament and Supreme
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and call early elections for May
25.
On February, Arseniy Yatsenyuk was appointed to head a new government.

to flee Ukraine because his life was under threat. He said that he
remained the legitimately president of Ukraine. Russia questions the
legitimacy of the Ukrainian parliament’s latest decisions. Crimea and a
number of regions in eastern have refused to recognize Yanukovych’s
removal and decided to hold referendums on their future status. Voters

Las medidas emprendidas por el Gobierno legítimo de Crimea cumplen con las leyes internacionales y corresponden a los intereses legítimos de la población de la república autónoma ucraniana, afirmó el presidente ruso, Vladímir Putin.
El mandatario ruso realizó estas declaraciones en una conferencia telefónica con el primer ministro británico, David Cameron, y la canciller alemana, Angela Merkel.
El Parlamento de Crimea adoptó unánimemente el jueves pasado la decisión de pasar a formar parte de la Federación de Rusia y convocó un referéndum popular sobre el estatus de Crimea para el 16 de marzo.
La península no reconoce el autoproclamado Gobierno en Kiev que el pasado 22 de febrero destituyó al presidente Víktor Yanukóvich, cambió la Constitución y convocó elecciones anticipadas.

Russland empört über "Gesetzlosigkeit" in Ostukraine...
ReplyDeleteDas Moskauer Außenministerium beschuldigt ukrainische Nationalisten, sie würden Unruhe im Osten stiften. Umgekehrt sollen Ukrainer auf der Krim angegriffen worden sein.
Russland hat sich empört über eine angebliche "Gesetzlosigkeit" in der Ostukraine gezeigt. Militante Nationalisten aus dem Westen der Ukraine würden mit Duldung der neuen Führung in Kiew in den Gebieten nahe der russischen Grenze für Unruhe stiften, hieß es aus dem Außenministerium in Moskau.
In der Stadt Dnjepropetrowsk seien zudem sieben russische Journalisten festgenommen worden. Der Westen schweige beschämt zu den Vorfällen, hieß es in der Mitteilung. Russlands Präsident Wladimir Putin hatte mit einem Militäreinsatz auf der Halbinsel Krim, aber auch in der Ostukraine gedroht, falls dort Russen gefährdet seien.
In mehreren Großstädten der Süd- und Ostukraine fordern Teile der russischstämmigen Bevölkerung, dass es wie auf der Krim ein Referendum über einen Anschluss an Russland geben soll. Der Westen sieht in der von Moskau demonstrativ unterstützten Vorbereitung des Krim-Referendums dagegen eine Eskalation der Lage.
Im äußersten Osten der Ukraine, im Verwaltungsgebiet Lugansk, hatten am Sonntag Aktivisten den Sitz der Regionalregierung gestürzt und den Gouverneur für abgesetzt erklärt. Demonstranten seien in Bussen aus Russland über die nahe Grenze zu der Kundgebung gefahren, berichteten örtliche Medien.
Auch in Donezk und Odessa protestierten Tausende gegen die prowestliche neue Staatsführung.
