Right Sector Not Going to Attack Kiev, Some of Requirements Fulfilled (Dmitry Yarosh)

KIEV, August 17 (RIA Novosti) - Right Sector militants will continue to fight against the militia forces in the east of Ukraine and will not march on Kiev, because the authorities partially complied with the demands presented by the movement, the leader of the organization Dmitry Yarosh said.
On Saturday, the Right Sector ultranationalist movement addressed to the president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, demanding to carry out purges of staff in the Interior Ministry and to close all criminal cases against members of the organization. In case it does not happen within 48 hours, Right Sector promised to withdraw from the frontline and to move to the Ukrainian capital.

Russia may put Saakashvili and Georgia's several officials on wanted list

Russia's Investigative Committee does not rule out it may put on the international wanted list Georgia's Former President Mikheil Saakashvili and several high-ranking officials, who are responsible for the events in South Ossetia in 2008, the authority’s representative Vladimir Markin said in an interview with TASS news agency on Monday.

"The investigation has the information that Georgia's top-ranking officials, including President Saakashvili, Defense Minister Kezerashvili, Interior Minister Merabishvili and others, followed the aim of complete elimination of Ossetians living in the territory of South Ossetia," Markin said, adding that earlier those people had the international immunity from criminal charges.

Russia alarmed by West's turning blind eye to ultranationalists in Ukraine government

Russia expressed concern on Tuesday over a clear deficit of attention in the US and the European Union to representatives of ultranationalist forces in Ukraine’s executive bodies claiming legitimacy.

“Representatives of the All-Ukrainian Union Svoboda hold some key positions in Kiev, including the positions of deputy prime minister and defence minister,” said a commentary of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Crimean leaders' steps based on International law, Putin tells Cameron, Merkel. - Kremlin

President Vladimir Putin held talks by telephone with British Prime Minister David Cameron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the Kremlin press service reported on Sunday.

"Putin made a point that the steps being taken by the legitimate Crimean authorities are based on international law and aim to protect the legitimate interests of the population of the Crimea," the press service said.

"The Russian president also said that the current Ukrainian authorities are doing nothing to curb the ultra-nationalist and radical forces' outrages committed in Kyiv and many other regions," the Kremlin press service said.
