Israel recalled its ambassador from Madrid for consultations due to remarks by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez. Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen announced this on Thursday, November 30.

Earlier in the day, Sanchez called out "Israeli misbehavior" in the Gaza Strip.

“After the outrageous words of the Prime Minister of Spain, who repeats baseless accusations, I called the Israeli Ambassador to Spain, told him to return to Jerusalem for consultations,” Cohen wrote on the social network X
