Jerusalem attack did not technically break Gaza pause, White House says

The attack in Jerusalem "technically" did not violate the agreement between Israel and Hamas on a pause in fighting, since it applies only to Gaza, said John Kirby, strategic communications coordinator for the White House National Security Council.
"The attack took place in Jerusalem, and the pause in the fighting was specific to the Gaza Strip," Kirby told reporters.
