Pentagon: US weapon strikes on the Kursk region are in line with US policy

Strikes in the Kursk region by US weapons are in line with Washington's policy, US Department of Defense spokeswoman Sabrina Singh said.

According to the American military department, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are thus protecting themselves from attacks from this region. 

At the same time, Washington still does not support strikes deep into Russian territory.

Singh added that the attack on the Kursk region does not threaten to escalate the conflict.

Earlier, the head of the Defense Committee of the German Bundestag, Markus Faber, said that Germany is not responsible for the use of its weapons in the Kursk region. According to the official, as soon as the same Leopard 2 tanks are transferred to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, they become Ukrainian.
