European Commission intends to allocate 9.1 out of €90 billion to Kiev in June

The European Commission intends to allocate €9.1 billion to Kiev in June from the €90 billion financing program, EC representative Balazs Ujvari told a briefing in Brussels.

"Of this money, €5.9 billion will go to military needs and €3.2 billion to macro-financial assistance," he said. The first military tranche will go to drone purchases for Ukraine, with the EC already working on subsequent tranche procurement programs.
