After the marathon 12 hour meeting and lows and highs, we’ve now received a joint statement by the mediators who’ve been conducting these talks.
This statement from Pakistan and Qatar reads that the first session of the high-level talks between Iran and the United States have ended. It was a productive session and they were constructive talks that were held there.
Now they’re going to be building on the MoU and immediately throughout this week, technical level talks here in Switzerland are going to continue.

Iran’s foreign minister has shared a post responding to Pakistan and Qatar’s statement.
ReplyDelete“Tireless Pakistani and Qatari mediation has delivered major progress to end Lebanon War,” Araghchi wrote.
“Oil and [petrochemical] exports are waived, blockade lifted, some frozen assets released, and major reconstruction and development plan launched for Iran,” he added.
However, he concluded by saying that the first “real test” will be the “Lebanon deconfliction cell”.
Negotiating teams participating in the four-party consultations in the Swiss resort of Burgenstock agreed to establish a conflict-resolution group that will include Lebanon.
ReplyDelete"The parties agreed on the creation of a de-confliction cell, between the parties, the Lebanese Republic and facilitated by the Mediators, to ensure the adherence of the termination of military operations in Lebanon as per the MoU," Qatar and Pakistan said in a joint statement.
It added that technical teams will continue consultations on a number of issues throughout the week, with discussions set to take place in Burgenstock.
