France edged past a stubborn and physical Paraguay side thanks to a Kylian Mbappé penalty (1-0), sealing their place in the World Cup 2026 quarterfinals after a frustrating but dominant display.
Kylian Mbappe scored the winning goal from the penalty spot at the 70th minute.
They will take on Morocco on Thursday.
