Argentine President Javier Milei is addressing the 81st UN General Assembly in New York this Wednesday, marking his third speech before the body since taking office.
During his address, he criticized the UN for several reasons, including its alleged decision to "look the other way regarding the Malvinas." Amidst the reignited controversy with the United Kingdom, he highlighted his administration's new measures concerning the islands.
Milei stressed that his government would not wait for the UN but would instead "take matters into its own hands." In this vein, he emphasized that this is a "national cause."
