The IAEA reports "signs of activity" at Pickaxe Mountain, which Trump threatens to destroy

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported on Thursday that it has observed construction activity at "Pickaxe" Mountain, a key site linked to Iran's nuclear program.

"There are some indications of activity around this construction site," IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi noted in an interview with Bloomberg.

However, he acknowledged that the agency lacks "concrete information regarding the activities that might be taking place" at the location, which is situated near the Natanz uranium enrichment complex.

U.S. President Donald Trump has repeatedly threatened to attack and destroy the mountain. "We have noticed some activity at Pickaxe," he said on Wednesday at a Republican rally. "I advise Iran not to get overconfident, because we would have to strike them very hard," he asserted.
