South Korea is recalling its ambassador from Ukraine, according to the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Earlier, the head of the South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the country had received "insufficient" apologies from Ukraine for disclosing information about the transfer of North Korean prisoners.

"The government hopes that all outstanding issues between the two countries will be resolved as soon as possible and will continue consultations with the Ukrainian side to make progress in that direction," the South Korean Foreign Ministry reported.

It is worth noting that Zelenskyy previously announced from the UN General Assembly podium that Ukraine had handed over two captured North Korean soldiers to South Korea.
