Opposition politicians have called on Prime Minister Gruevski to explain his failure to make progress on FYROM's Euro-Atlantic objective in the face of Greece's continuing blockade.

In an interview for the FYROM's News Agency, MIA, on Sunday, Gruevski strongly criticized NATO for practising what he described as "double standards" and "selective respect of international law" when it comes to the country's accession.

The interview was published at the weekend just hours before the start of the two-day NATO summit in Chicago where FYROM, as expected, again failed to secure an invitation to join the alliance, because of the "Greek blockade" over the name dispute.

NATO and US officials have put an end to FYROM’s slim hopes that it may get anything more than warm words at the forthcoming NATO summit in Chicago in a few days.

Resolving the "name" dispute with Greece remains the condition for FYROM’s NATO accession, NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen told Radio Free Europe ahead of the summit that starts on May 20-21.

The Alliance's position remains unchanged, he said, and is still based on the decision taken at the 2008 Bucharest summit, when NATO deemed FYROM ready to join once it concludes the long-standing name issue with Greece.

Η εφημερίδα ΕΣΤΙΑ της Δευτέρας 2 Απριλίου 2012 έχει κείμενο με τίτλο «Μάθιου Νίμιτς: Ελλάς-ΠΓΔΜ μπορούν να βρουν λύση», στο οποίο ο κ. Νίμιτς αναφέρει: «Η Ελλάδα και η ΠΓΔΜ μπορούν να βρουν λύση στο ζήτημα της ονομασίας, που να ανταποκρίνεται στα εθνικά συμφέροντα των δύο χωρών»***.

Το όνομα της ΠΓΔΜ δεν αφορά μόνο τους δύο γείτονες, αλλά και το ΝΑΤΟ και την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση.

Slobodan Bliznakovski, a member of Skopje city council from the small opposition VMRO-People’s Party, says he will put the plan before the Constitutional Court, citing various flaws.

“Not all ten Skopje municipalities were consulted for their opinions and even those that were had no proper discussion in their municipal councils,” Bliznakovski said.

Last month the ruling centre-right VMRO-DPMNE party of Nikola Gruevski and its ethnic Albanian partner, the Democratic Union for Integration, DUI announced the proposal.

Μέσα από ένα εμπεριστατωμένο ρεπορτάζ 20 λεπτών, ο βουλγαρικός  τηλεοπτικός σταθμός  «BTV», παρουσίασε τη μεθοδευμένη προσπάθεια της κυβέρνησης Γκρουέφσκι στα Σκόπια, να αλλάξει την ταυτότητα των κατοίκων της χώρας στο πλαίσιο ενός σχεδίου «αποσλαβοποίησης» με την οικειοποίηση ιστορικών προσωπικοτήτων τόσο της αρχαίας Ελλάδας, όσο της  μεσαιωνικής και νεώτερης Βουλγαρίας.

Από χθες ,8 Μαρτίου 2012, στην σελίδα my stats των δυο bloggs http://ellanodikhs.com/   και http://ellanodikis.com/ ,που διαχειρίζομαι πρόσφατα και στο υποσέλιδο summaries, εμφανίζεται μια χώρα "macedonia" με αντίστοιχο χάρτη (φωτο1).
Δείχνει τις επισκέψεις που έγιναν από την ανύπαρκτη για την Ελλάδα χώρα στις παραπάνω ιστοσελίδες. Επειδή ο χάρτης της χώρας αυτής αντιστοιχεί στη ΠΓΔΜ (FYROM) και με κανένα τρόπο τα ιστολογια μας  δεν αναγνωρίζουν την χώρα αυτή, άμεσα η έμμεσα, αναστέλλεται η λειτουργία τους μέχρι να αποκατασταθεί το λάθος, σύμφωνα με το Διεθνές Δίκαιο και τον Χάρτη του ΟΗΕ.

Αποστέλλουμε και σχετική επιστολή στο wordpress com όπου με ετήσια πληρωμή φιλοξενούσε τα δυο bloggs.

Θα πρέπει να σημειώσουμε ότι στο Blogger (google) όπου φιλοξενούνται δωρεάν τα δυο αντίστοιχα ιστολογια http://www.ellanodikhs.blogspot.com/ και http://www.ellanodikis.blogspot.com/  ποτέ δεν μας πρόσβαλε με την ονομασία της χώρας αυτής ,ούτε στα statistics (φωτο2) ούτε στα adwords. (εκεί συνεχίζουμε)

“By resolution A/RES/47/225 of 8 April 1993, the General Assembly decided to admit as a Member of the United Nations the State being provisionally referred to for all purposes within the United Nations as "The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia" pending settlement of the difference that had arisen over its name.”
Macedonia is one of the geographic regions of continental Greece and constitutes the southern and larger part of the wider geographic and historical region of Macedonia. Today it constitutes the northern larger geographic and historical region (25, 9% of all extent) of the Greek territory. Macedonia borders with The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (The FYROM) and Bulgaria in the north, southerly with Thessaly and the Aegean Sea, easterly with Western Thrace and westwards it borders with Epirus and Albania.
I would like to believe that this issue is a result of a mistake and it was not made on purpose.
