Tsunami Warning Issued After 7.3 Indonesian Earthquake

A powerful earthquake has struck just off the coast of Indonesia, leading to a tsunami warning for areas up to 300 kilometers away.
The 7.3 magnitude quake occurred just after 10:30 Saturday morning, local time, near the epicenter off the coast of the Maluku Islands in eastern Indonesia.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.

Strong earthquake strikes Japan near Fukushima, tsunami advisory issued

 TOKYO -- A 6.8-magnitude earthquake has hit Japan's northern coast near the nuclear power plant crippled in the 2011 earthquake and tsunami.

Japan's Meteorological Agency says the quake struck early Saturday 10 kilometres below the sea surface off the coast of Fukushima, northeast of Tokyo.

The agency issued tsunami advisory along the Japanese northern coast.

6.5 magnitude earthquake strikes off Mexico coast. -10 kilometers deep in the Sea of Cortez - Tsunami warning has not been issued.

A 6.5 magnitude earthquake struck off the western coast of Mexico in the Gulf of California between the Mexican states of Sonora and Baja California Sur, the US Geological Survey reported.
The epicenter of the quake was 10 kilometers deep in the Sea of Cortez. Emergency services in Mexican Sonora and Sinaloa states said there were no immediate reports of casualties and it was not yet clear how the quake had affected Baja California Sur.
The quake was initially reported to have reached a magnitude of 6.8, but was later downgraded to 6.5 by USGS. 
A tsunami warning has not been issued.

Sismo de magnitud 6,7 estremeció a cuatro regiones de Colombia / M 6.7 - SOUTH OF PANAMA - 2013-08-13 15:43:13 UTC ....local time: 10:43....85 km SW of Mutis, Colombia...TSUNAMI IS NOT EXPECTED

Un sismo de 6,7 en la escala de Ritcher, se regsitró este martes con epicentro en el Océano Pacífico en la cabecera municipal de Nuquí, departamento de Chocó (noroeste), reseñaron medios de Colombia sin suministrar mayores detalles.

El Observatorio sismológico y vulcanológico de Pasto ( en el sureste) reportó que a las 10H43 hora local se presentó el sismo de niveles superficiales.
El evento telúrico es descrito como “fuerte” por los portales web de ese país suramericano y explican que afectó a cuatro zonas: Eje cafetero, Antioquia (noroeste), Valle del Cauca (suroccidente) y Risaralda (centro- occidente).
Las autoridades desestimaron emitir una alerta de tsunami. El sismo no generó daños en infraestructuras ni víctimas.

7.7 quake hits west of Alaska coast, regional tsunami warning issued/tsunami warning canceled/Σεισμός μεγέθους 7,7 βαθμών της κλίμακας Ρίχτερ στην Αλάσκα

A 7.7-magnitude earthquake has struck the western coast of Alaska. A tsunami warning has been issued for Alaska and British Columbia.
Craig, Alaska, is the city nearest to the epicenter of the quake, the US Geological Survey reported.
The tremor occurred at a depth of 6 miles (9.6 kilometers) at 8:58am GMT.
Local residents wrote on Twitter that they have received alerts to evacuate the beaches.
